A Cause to Celebrate
As mentioned a few "blogs" ago, this past weekend we participated in the 16th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation "Culinary Evening with the California Winemasters." The event was held at the Parmount studios Streets of New York lot. It was one of the most amazing events we have attended. Over 1200 people were there to support this cause and the foundation's previous record was broken. Over $1.2 million was raised to help find a cure. This year we were honored to have a live lot in the auction. Next year we will also pour our 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (to be bottled next month) at the event. An enormous congratulations to Barbara and Allen Balik who pour their heart and soul into making this event as memorable and successful as it has become. Chantico to you both.
